Actionmarguerite is a community- based, long term care, non profit corporation. It was established to provide care, services and programs to the elderly, adults and people with multiple care needs to benefit and add value to their daily lives. It is a personal care home owned by the Catholic Health Corporation Of Manitoba and formed by the union of Tache Center and Foyer Valade in Winnipeg. Actionmarguerite is funded by the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA). It provides multiple services and programs such as:

- Specialized care for people suffering from dementia and related behaviors
- Spiritual care and recreation
- Day center
- Supportive housing
- Rehabilitation and social work

Actionmarguerite has its locations in Saint Vital, Saint Boniface, Saint Joseph and provides supportive housing programs at Chez-Nous and Windsor park place
SAINT VITAL LOCATION
The Staint Vital location is at 450 River and was established by the Grey Nuns in 1988 under the name Foyer Valade. It is provincially designated and is a Francophone personal long term care facility. It runs personal care and dementia care programs. It has 154 beds and 220 employees.
SAINT BONIFACE LOCATION
Actionmarguerite, Saint Boniface location is at 185 Despins Street. It runs personal care, dementia care, care for seniors and adults with complex health needs, acquired brain injury, and day program. Actionmarguerite, saint Boniface is a Bilingual long term care facility.
It was established by the Grey Nuns in 1935 under the name Tache Nursing Centre and was later renamed Tache Centre. They serve Francophone population and deliver regional specialized services in dementia care and related behaviors, multiple and chronic care, care for people with acquired brain injury and other disabilities. It provide respite, adult day Centre for the elderly and adults living in the community. It has 525 employees and 299 beds.
SAINT JOSEPH LOCATION
Its Saint Joseph location is at 1149 Leila Avenue. It is a personal care home servicing seniors from different cultures, races and ethnicities in the Northwest Winnipeg. It was founded by the sisters of saint Joseph’s housing hospital on Salter Avenue and later transferred to the Benedictine in 1973. It has 100 beds and 150 employees.
Actionmarguerite provides affordable supportive housing program in Chez-nous located at 187 De la cathedral Avenue with 24 suites and 15 employees.
WINDSOR PARK PLACE
It also has a supportive housing program in Windsor Park Place located at 875 Elizabeth Road with also 24 suites and 17 employees. Both supportive housing’s subsidy is based on income earned.
Actionmarguerite foundation and friends of Jesus of Saint Joseph’s residence are their charitable organizations where people can send in their donations and contributions to assist and make the lives of residents better.
Actionmarguerite offer a wide range career opportunities under three categories such as:
These are Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Health Care Aides, Rehabilitation Aides, Supportive Housing Companions and Adults Day Program Companions.
The residents services employees are Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietary Aides, Spiritual Care Chaplains, Recreational Assistants and Volunteers.
Employees under supportive services are the Administration, Human Resource Managers and Assistants, Paroll, Scheduling staff, Accounting, Finance, Housekeeping, Laundry Aides, Dietetics, Engineers and Maintenance.
